When looking at the House of Lords and seeing bishops on the benches, taking part in debates, this is fine to a point. The point at which the line is crossed is when they do not advise the lords spiritually on matters but take the high and mighty stance that they have a greater understanding of international affairs and a country’s laws and customs. This is also when they decide to bring up prior human rights issues and slavery.
Most recently the issue of Gaza attacking Israel and the Arch Bishop taking the side of the palestinians who perpetrated acts of violence against the elderly, children and babies.
The point of “Gender Assignment”? What does this mean? As far as humanity and all living Mammals on this planet are concerned there are only two Genders, Sexes. Male and Female. It is ridiculous to state that a man is a woman because he thinks he is. If you think you were “born in the wrong body”, it is hard to understand where these thoughts come from?
Further comments have been made about the two child limit on Child tax credits as being cruel. It comes down to the understanding that the parents who have more than two children can afford to have more than two, not that they are out of pocket by doing so.
This follows in the case of couples who are on good salaries but complain saying they do not have the money to have children as their priorities are to have the latest Audi, the full Sky TV or Virgin TV package, the must have Netflix and Amazon prime.
Couples with these priorities are being selfish and wanting the state to pay them to have children. This is where the woke Bishop is commenting on the policy which is not within his area of expertise. As stated, the Church, or any other religious leader should not interfere with Government policy.
The selection of the Arch Bishop of Canterbury should not be down to the politics within the church, it should be about the person, their achievements and their personality. The job of the church is to advise not criticise, to empathise, and not be judgemental. It would seem that times have changed and the position of Arch Bishop is no longer leader of the church but a political role.
it is also interesting to see that the prayers are changing along with the number of sexes that the Human mammal now has. In this short video “This church has gone woke“. By all accounts when baby is born it ie either a Male or Female. We must also now. contend with NHS Trusts asking on forms which best describes your orientation? This is then followed with the question what sex were you at birth? Male / Female.
